STORM SPOTTER CLASS TO BE HELD

Severe weather season is upon us, and SW Arkansas, including Hot Springs and the Diamond Lakes Area,  has already experience the first Tornado Warning of 2018. Certified "Storm Spotters and Weather Observers", are the local eyes and ears of the National Weather Service, during severe weather events. 

The National Weather Service, in conjunction with Garland County Department of Emergency Management and the Diamond Area Lakes SKYWARN, will be holding a NWS Storm Spotters Class on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The class will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Auditorium (Exhibit Hall B), 134 Convention Blvd., Hot Springs, AR, and class starts at 10:00 AM.
