Mission

  1. Commitment to a clean and safe environment: The task force will work to keep the community free from litter, trash, and other forms of environmental degradation.
  2. Education and Outreach: The task force will educate the public about the importance of keeping the environment clean and the consequences of littering.   They will also work to engage community members and businesses in their efforts to reduce litter.
  3. Coordination and collaboration: The task force will work with local government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to create a coordinated and practical approach to reducing litter.
  4. Community-wide action: The task force will encourage and facilitate the involvement of all community members, including individuals, families, schools, and businesses, in the effort to reduce litter.
  5. Sustainability: The task force will work to ensure its efforts are sustainable over the long term by developing strategies and programs that will continue to address litter even after the task force has completed its work.
  6. Continuous Improvement: The task force will continuously assess their progress and efforts to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure they are taking the most effective approach to reduce litter.
