| The Garland County 911 Emergency Communications Center (911 Center) is a stand-alone dispatch center within Garland County, Arkansas, and falls under the direction of the County Judge and Department of Emergency Management Director. The 911 Center is a primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for 911 emergencies. We currently have dispatch agreements with the Garland County Sheriff's Office, the county's nine volunteer fire departments and districts, and all other county departments to process their calls for service (CFS). Yearly, the Center's 14 full-time Telecommunication Professionals receive, dispatch, and document over 50,000 CFS / incidents, process approximately 350,000 emergency and non-emergency phone calls, and document over 10,000 traffic stops for our partners and others.
