Project Lifesaver

Two Hands Holding Red Heart

Project Lifesaver is a lost person locating program.

Project Lifesaver was established to help families of Alzheimer’s, Autism, and Down Syndrome members. Garland County Sheriff's Office Project Lifesaver was started in April of 2006 with donations from the citizens of Garland County.

Wrist Transmitter

Our “Clients” wear a small wrist transmitter that emits a signal which is received by our tracking equipment. If the client becomes lost, they can be tracked by a search specialist and can normally be located within minutes instead of hours.
