   Vicki has served as Garland County Circuit Clerk since January of 1991 and is a Certified Clerk with the Arkansas Clerk’s of the Court.  Vicki has served the citizens of Garland County for over 24 years having been a deputy Tax Collector prior to being elected Circuit Clerk. 

 

    Vicki represents the Arkansas Circuit Clerks Association on the Association of Arkansas Counties Board of Directors, the Continuing Education Committee and as vice chairman of the Legislative Committee.  Association of Arkansas Board President Mike Jacobs appointed her to the Association of Arkansas Counties Legislative Committee in January of 2007.  She serves the State of Arkansas as a board member for the Arkansas Crime Information Center.  The Administrative Office of the Courts appointed Vicki to the Arkansas Task Force on Court Security and the Arkansas Jury Taskforce for the Supreme Court of Arkansas in 2005 and she continues her service on these Taskforce today.

 

     Vicki is active with many civic and political organizations in her community, which include Garland County Democratic Central Committee, Virginia Clinton Kelley Democratic Women’s Club, board member of Abilities Unlimited where she currently serves as vice president, a member of Arkansas Association of Leadership Alumni serving them as secretary, past president of Hot Springs Emblem Club, and past president and a current member of the executive board of the Garland County United Way Board of Directors.  She was chosen to be the Garland County United Way Campaign Chairman for 2005.  She is a graduate of Leadership Hot Springs, Class V and is a 2005 graduate of the statewide two year University of Arkansas Co-Operative Extension Service Leadership Program (LeadAR).  She and her husband John are the parents of four children and the proud grandparents of four.
