Brenda began her service as Assessor January 1, 2005, but brought 6 years of experience as Chief Deputy Assessor and a total of 30 years of service in the Garland County Assessor’s Office. She holds certification from the International Association of Assessing. She is a lifetime resident of Garland County and graduated from Lake Hamilton High School. She is married to Eddy Short. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.
